Season 2012-2013 was the first season where the team Garrins Metàl·lics participated at the FTC competition.
The 17th March the European Robotic Festival (ERF) was celebrated. The team achieved to reach the final. However, they couldn’t beat the other alliance.
The place achieved in ERF, gave at the team the chance to go to Grenoble to participate in the ”2ème edition du concours international de robotique FIRST Tech Challenge”, organized by Grenoble INP. The team used the crowdfunding Verkami to get the found to pay the trip. Garrins Metàl·lics this time didn’t waste the chance and won the tournament.
