Facilitating international exchange and accelerating careers in science and technology
The International Relations Unit is committed to encouraging student, faculty and staff mobility in the fields of engineering, biosciences and multimedia, connecting people from around the world through our international partnerships, research and publications.
Exchange students coming to our faculty can enrol in courses in English or gain practical experience as a UVic Intern with our research groups. Faculty students who would like to study abroad can choose from over 40 partner universities or apply for internships with companies or research groups. Mechatronics students can join the double degree programme between UVic and PUCPR (Pontificia Universidade Católica do Paraná) in Brazil. There are also plenty of international activities and clubs for all those students who would like to broaden their social and cultural horizons.
