About alanruncieman

I started teaching interpreting and translation around 20 years ago, first in Italy in 2006 at the University of Bologna's Department for Interpreters and Translators (DIT), and then at the University of Vic when I moved to Spain in 2018. As an academic, I have published numerous articles and books on many aspects about interpreting and translation. My principal research interests lie in interpreter training with regard to new post-modern challenges, in particular the rise of ‘translanguaging’ practices in urban settings with the emergence of increasingly superdiverse and multilingual populations. If you would like to explore some of my research you can visit my ORCID profile at: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7426-0521.
