Center for Research Studies (CRED)

The Center for Education Studies and Research (*CRED) at UVic-UCC is an interdisciplinary, cross-cutting, and intersectoral space that brings together and coordinates research and knowledge transfer and promotes research training in the fields of education.
Its main mission is to promote and stimulate interdisciplinary and cross-cutting research activity in education from a local, national, and international perspective.

CRED is made up of four research groups from FETEP (Faculty of Education, Translation, Sports, and Psychology) recognized for the Generalitat of Catalonia in the SGR2021 call for proposals:

Research Group on Diversity Care (GRAD), University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia, consolidated research group 2021 SGR 821.

Educational Research Group (GREUV) at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia), consolidated research group 2021 SGR 01460.

Research Group on Applied Linguistics, Didactics, and Literature (Glossa) at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia, consolidated research group 2021 SGR 613.

Knowledge Construction Research Group (GRECC), University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia, emerging research group 2021 SGR 1167.

Objectives

  • Promote the generation and dissemination of knowledge related to its activity, working in connection with the territory.
  • Promote the development of and participation in research and transfer projects at the local, national, and international levels.
  • Encourage publication in scientific journals and publishers.
  • Support researchers in research evaluation and accreditation processes.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions to promote research and knowledge transfer activities that improve previous approaches.
