GETLIHC:
The research group “Gender Studies Research Group: Translation, Literature, History and Communication” (GETLIHC) was created with the aim of fostering gender studies research and bringing to light the reality of women’s lives and cultural manifestations over the ages throughout history. Its main lines of research are: a) gender and biographical studies, b) gender and translation, c) gender and historical, literary and social studies, and d) studies on sexual and gender diversity.
GLOSSA:
This research group carries out research in a) applied linguistics, language and literature teaching, b) English language teaching in compulsory education, c) language, communication and welfare in infant education, d) study, edition and literary reception of 19th and 21st century literary texts, e) literary heritage: study and applications, f) the didactics of literature, and g) in the areas of translation and language teaching, linguistic analysis, semiotics and teaching with ICT’s.
TRACTE:
The consolidated research group TRACTE (Translation, Communication and Territory, SGR 2021 814 GRC) of the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia promotes interdisciplinary research on social communication, on the fields of audiovisual translation and accessibility, as well as communication and territory. It is an interfacultative group, linked to the Faculty of Education, Translation, Spors and Psychology and the Faculty of Business and Communication. It has received funding from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, the UVic-UCC, the ICD (Catalan Institute of Women), the Department of Welfare and Family of the Generalitat de Catalunya, as well as from various Catalan regional and city councils.
EMPREN:
The consolidated research group EMPREN (SGR 2017 155 GRC) of the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia conducts research on entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as Management of business innovation, researching on Corporate Social Responsibility of organizations and analysis financial and non-financial sector, and the case study.
ISaMBeS:
Innovation in mental health and social welfare is an international, transdisciplinary and interinstitutional (UVic-UCC, Althaia, CHV and Osonament) research group whose main focus is the mental health and the social inclusion of people and communities. It is leading national and international competitive funded research projects.
