The IW’15 – Games4All Meeting will be held the next 11th june 2015, during the 5th International Workshop on Higher Education at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) -9th to 12th june 2015-.
One of the key aspects of the Mobile revolution is the increasing number of opportunities for applying digital technologies to most human activities. Mobile device games and apps development has given rise to successful applications in fields as diverse as education, healthcare, advertising, communication and business apart from the pure entertainment. This has led to the emergence of combined fields such as eHealth, edutainment, advergaming and so on, offering users exciting new kinds of social interaction. The aim of this meeting is to share all the experience developped in this area at UVic-UCC (Higher Professional Studies -Teknos-, Bachelor Degree in Multimedia, Msc Degree in Mobile Applications and Games and PhD in Experimental Sciences and Technology) with our pears of other institutions and enterprises, in order to progress jointly to higher challenges and increase our mutual knowledge, emphasizing the need of transversal and unorthodox view to build meaningful and relevant solutions.
