Dr. Anna Pérez-Quintana is a lecturer in the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) at the Faculty of Business and Communication and Director of the Equality Unit of this university. She holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies (specialization in Political Economics and Sociology) from the University of Barcelona and obtained a PhD in Business, in the same university. Her thesis is focused on the influence of gender stereotypes in entrepreneurship. She teaches in various degrees and postgraduates of this university. Before her teaching and researching activity, she was a manager at Cooperativa l’Economista, SCCL, an adviser of entrepreneurs at the Badalona Town Hall and managed her own company for five years. In the recent years she participated in various projects of research on (social) entrepreneurship from a gender perspective. She is a member of the UVic-UCC Research group, Societies, Policy and Inclusive Communities (SoPCI) and has been part of the organizing committee and the scientific committee of the V Congress of Feminist Economics, held at the UVic-UCC in 2015.
