Marta Otero, TR2Lab’s group leader, makes the closing of the Manel Esteller’s conference at the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia in the context of the TLC program. The TLC program is a scientific outreach program for high school students, and undergraduate students. MD. Manel Esteller, doctor in medicine, director of the Cancer Epigenetics and Biology Program in the IDIBELL, and writer has talked about the concept of epigenetics in the context of his recent published book (original) title: “No sóc el meu ADN”. His conference has focused on explaing what epigenetics is and how important in our lives. He has also exposed the interest of this discipline for the diagnosis and treatment of some pathologies.
