Anna Torné presents a communication at the 7th Annual International Workshop on Higher Education (IWHE)

Anna Torné, who is doing her doctoral thesis at TR2Lab under the supervision of Ph.D. Ester Goutan, attended the 7th Annual International Workshop on Higher Education (IWHE) of the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (Vic, Barcelona, Spain, June 2017).

This Annual International Workshop is structured in different forums that discuss the research carried out at UVic-UCC. This workshop is headed to establish partnerships and to propose to join research projects with national and international organizations and to enhance the international dimension of research that is carried out at our university.

In this workshop Torné presented the poster: “Patients attended by the interdisciplinary geriatric assessment team (IGAT) and its trajectory”. The results of this study demonstrate that functional loss, the previous degree of frailty and geriatric syndromes acquired during admission are related to discharge destiny.
