Raúl Martínez-Corcuera

Raúl Martínez-Corcuera és Llicenciat i Doctor en Ciències de la Informació i Llicenciat en Ciències Polítiques i Sociologia. És professor del departament de Comunicació en la FEC-UVIC i membre del Grup de Recerca TRACTE. Experiència en l’anàlisi dels discursos d’odi (racisme, masclisme, LGTBIfòbia…) en múltiples continguts del mitjans de comunicació: presentació i representació del ffutbol masculí i femení; la informació dels processos migratoris; las imatges i discursos d’odi en els informatius, la publicitat, les sèries… Té una àmplia experiència en transferència de tecnologia i coneixement, ja que ha participat en més de 40 projectes públics de recerca i innovació d’àmbit europeu i nacional.

Raúl Martínez-Corcuera holds a Bachelor’s and a Doctorate degree in Information Sciences; and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology. He is a lecturer in the Communication department at FEC-UVIC and a member of the TRACTE Research Group. He has experience in the analysis of hate speech (racism, sexism, LGBTQ+ phobia) in various media content, including the representation of male and female football, coverage of migration processes, and hate speech in news, advertising, or series. Dr. Martínez-Corcuera has extensive experience in technology and knowledge transfer, having participated in over 40 public research and innovation projects at the European and national levels.
