The MECAMAT research group participated with two works in the 14th Iberian Congress of Archaeometry organized by the Sociedad de Arqueometría Aplicada al Patrimonio Cultural which was held between 26 and 28 October in Tarragona. On the one side, our colleague Mainardo Gaudenzi presented the prototype of a Data Aquisition System designed for the structural and environmental monitoring of built heritage, developed within the Bioachs project in cooperation with the Beta Tech Center of the UVic-UCC. On the other side, our colleagues Judit Molera and Mainardo Gaudenzi co-authored a poster on black glazed ceramic decorations based on iron pigments, resulted from a collaboration with scholars from the Universidad de Almería, the Universitat de Barcelona, the Algerian CNR, the ALBA Synchroton, and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
