At the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering at UVic-UCC, we are committed to providing our students with opportunities to expand their academic experience beyond borders. Through our valuable network of international partnerships, our students are able to undertake a study exchange semester or whole academic year abroad at another Higher Education Institution, as well as the possibility of doing an intersnship at institutions and companies across the globe.

Studying or working in another country is a unique opportunity to broaden your academic, cultural, and personal horizons, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way!

.

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering has more than 90 exchange agreements with higher education institutions from all over the world. All students at the Faculty are eligible to undertake a whole academic year or one semester abroad as part of their studies at UVic-UCC.

.

Internships allow students to complement their academic journey with practical skills and abilities. At the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering students have the possibility of undertaking their practicals (Curricular, Elective, and Extra-curricular) abroad either within a research group at another University, NGOs, institutions or enterprises all over the planet.

.

The Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering also offers Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP), which combine online learning with a short-term mobility component at one of our partner institutions abroad. BIP offers a flexible and innovative way for students to gain international experience without the need for a long-term stay abroad.

We currently have a selection of BIP programmes available, so we encourage you to check our ongoing projects!

.

At the Faculty of Science, Technology, and Engineering at UVic, we believe that international experiences are not only valuable for students but also for our faculty staff. Through staff mobility programs, members of the Faculty have the opportunity to engage with international colleagues, exchange best practices, and enhance both personal and professional development.
