Ferran Latorre, a renowned mountain climber and world class adventurer who lives in the Vic area since several years ago, is in the process of achieving his long term project of being the first Catalan to climb all mountains above 8000 meters. It is now the turn of the Makalu (8463m) and before the final attack he has sent us this nice picture from the base camp.
