Position:
Assistant professor in Industrial Engineering (Mechanical Engineering profile), within the framework of the Serra Húnter programme. The appointment is for a full-time position in the Mechatronics Engineering degree.
Description
The Serra Húnter Programme of the Government of Catalonia aims at recruiting around 500 new faculty members into Catalan public universities during the period 2013-2020. The University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia has decided to appoint an assistant professor in the field of engineering, following the model of the Serra Húnter Programme. This is the second phase of the selection process of the 2015 call for applications for the Serra Húnter position.
The Faculty of Science and Technology carries out teaching, research and knowledge transfer activities in the fields of information and communications technology, engineering (industrial and biomedical) and biosciences.
Requirements
– PhD degree
– Mechanical engineering degree.
– University teaching experience.
– Accreditation of Level C in Catalan or willingness to achieve it.
Merits
– Research accreditation from AQU or another quality agency.
– Professional or research expertise in any of the following areas: machine design, design of equipment, automotive engineering.
– Expertise in integration of mechanics and electronics.
– CAD / CAM / CAE expertise.
– Academic and collaboration activities with teams at international centres.
– Accreditation of English skills.

– Complete curriculum vitae in AQU or ANECA format.
– Abridged curriculum vitae (on a single page), in any format.
– Affidavit of the accuracy of the curriculum vitae and, if necessary, other supporting documents.
