Promotion of health-enhancing physical activity initiatives in schools

Project goals
- To understand how physical activity is implemented in the school context in both countries to promote students’ health, well-being and learning.
- To critically discuss how physical activity interventions can be improved in different school contexts.
Activities:
Two 1-hour meetings with student groups (4-6) from both courses in Sweden and Spain.
- Meeting 1. Students will get to know each other. Students will share similarities and differences between the two countries in how physical activity in schools is implemented to promote health, well-being and learning.
- Meeting 2: Students will discuss two case studies from a Swedish and a Spanish school context on how physical activity interventions could be better implemented to improve student health, well-being and learning.
- Students will submit an individual final reflection on what was learned and discussed during both meetings, including a summary of implementation actions for each case study.
