Estefanía is studying 4th year of nursing at University of Vic-Central university of Catalonia. She is very interested to know the current needs of society. Currently, she is developing TFG about society’s needs and whether nursing students are aware of them and have taken them into account to do their degree work.

TR2Lab contributes to a research project writing workshop at UVic-UCC

TR2Lab is pleased to announce its participation in an upcoming training workshop focused on scientific research project writing, organised by the Centre for Innovation and Educational Training (CIFE) at UVic-UCC. The workshop will take place on Thursday 2 July and Friday 3 July 2026, from 9:00 to 13:00, at the Masia Torre dels Frares (UVic-UCC, Vic). This face-to-face course is aimed primarily at secondary school teachers, especially those involved in supervising Treball de Recerca projects at upper secondary level. TR2Lab was present at the EWMA 2026 Conference

TR2Lab was represented at the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) 2026 Conference by PhD candidate Clara Masó, who participated in this leading international event dedicated to advances in wound care, clinical practice, and translational research. This work was carried out with the collaboration of other members of TR2Lab, including Marta Casals-Zorita, Natàlia Palacio-Arronis, Marta Otero-Viñas and Marta Ferrer-Solà. Vocations Born in the Laboratory: Biomedical Workshops for Upper Secondary Students

The Biomedical Workshops are a well-established scientific outreach initiative promoted by TR2Lab  within the framework of the Educational Biomedicine Program. The program is aimed at upper secondary (baccalaureate) students and seeks primarily to strengthen the bridge between scientific education at school level and university studies in the biomedical field. At the same time, these workshops serve as a valuable platform to bring biomedical sciences closer to young people, stimulate emerging scientific vocations, and channel students’ curiosity and interest in research.
