On May 27, 2022, we visited the Spanish school “Escola Les Pinediques” within the framework of the European Union’s Erasmus + project KA2 (Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Strategic Partnerships for school education) «Writing for inclusion». During the meeting, Project Manager Mireia Canals-Botines, Professor of University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) , together with Iryna Kohut, the Head of the Department of Innovation and International Relations, Associate Professor of Psychology from Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University, met the school administration, teachers and students of the school. An important element of the meeting was to get acquainted with the stages of implementation and results of the project.
During the conversation, the school principal Eva Sala focused on the importance of the school’s participation in the project, the integration of the educational process into the project. Students of the school shared their impressions and emotions while working with the animation application, creating animated stories and voicing them. English primary school teacher Cinta González Garcia and primary school teacher Marta Ramírez Baró mentioned that the project had a positive impact on students, school teachers, due to the exchange of knowledge and good practices. The creation of animated stories, their sounding and creative work with the creation of the plot, characters and history has become important for pupils, which helps to strengthen the link between higher education institutions and schools in European countries.
An important result of the project was the implementation of the concept of “Care in Education”, which was primarily expressed through the creation of videos created by students from Spanish, Italian, Hungarian and Ukrainian schools. It was the support of Ukrainian school students during the war that became an important achievement of the project. It was achieved through videos, drawings and songs where students communicated with each other and supported Ukraine during the war.
