smARTS project enhances its visibility by creating a project logo that includes the acronym and extended title of the project, edited by using same font and red color used by the hosting institution UVic-UCC. Being the project based on free and open source software and hardware, smARTS logo includes an adapted version of the open source hardware logo, originally designed by Macklin Chaffee and revisited by Mateo Zlatar. The adapted open source hardware logo used in smARTS is released under CC-SA license. As part of a more comprehensive communication and dissemination strategy, the creation of the logo would give a unique visual identity to the project.
