Assistant Professor Dr Pau Català from UVic-UCC MECAMAT research group has participated as speaker in the “XVII Reunión de Profesores de Ingeniería Mecánica y de Vehículos / II Encuentro de Jóvenes Investigadores de Ingeniería Mecánica” hold in Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB, UPC) from 10-12 July 2019.

He participated in a session entitled “The beginning of the academic career. An obstacle race?” with 5 more researchers in the domain of mechanical engineering. This session was focused in sharing experiences between young researchers in the firsts steps of their careers, with an audience composed by more than 100 professors of mechanical engineering from Spanish universities.

Pau Català shared his experience of 3 years as an assistant professor in the bachelor’s degree in mechatronics engineering and bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering from UVic-UCC, and researcher in MECAMAT group.
