Miquel Caballeria, Ph.D. in Physical Sciences and professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Vic, participated in the new series of reports “Sustainable Universe” that are broadcast every Wednesday on the “The adventure of knowledge” program on “La 2 de TVE”.

Caballeria took part in the report “A future without beaches?” (minute 28) which analyzed the effects of tourism and urban growth on the coast and the possibilities of predicting the evolution of the coastline. His work with morphodynamics studies the mechanisms that should be considered in the study of the interaction between sea and sand.

The purpose of these reports is that researchers and experts explain in a straightforward manner the scientific and technological advances that will have important impacts on society in the immediate future.
