Exploring Advanced Oscillator Dynamics: Research by Claudia Valls and Montserrat Corbera

with No Comments
Claudia Valls Angles, PhD, Professor at Instituto Superior Tecnico of Universidade de Lisboa,  Portugal, has just performed a research visit to the MECAMAT. The visit aims to advance the understanding of the global dynamic of some classes of generalized Rayleigh-Van der Pol-Duffing oscillators in collaboration with Montserrat Corbera.
The Rayleigh-Van der Pol-Duffing oscillator represents a sophisticated mathematical model that combines the features of nonlinear damping, self-sustained oscillations, and nonlinear restoring forces. It is studied for its applications in engineering, neuroscience, and other fields where coupled oscillatory systems play a critical role.
