She’s a student of Physiotherapy at the University of Vic (UVic-UCC). She’s part of the Grup d’Iniciació Científica (Science Initiative Group) since 2023.

She is willing to gain some experience in practical research. She has done more than fifteen research-type assignments with a great academic value and she is actively training to get better at investigation. She is enthusiastic about entering a medical centre during the internship.

She is currently collaborating with Andrea Fuente and Laura Coll within the project JOIN4JOY, whose aim is to promote physical activity and reduce sedentary behaviour in the elderly. She’s also collaborating with Javier Jerez and Júlia Casacuberta within the GEROS project, a Service-Learning program about comprehensive geriatric assessment that will take place from 2024 to 2026 at the FHSW and Psychology degrees in UVic-UCC.

Elisenda has become comfortable with the voluntary values via organisations like AFEV and SCI/VSI. She is committed to the aims and expectations of each project.

She is interested in the research lines related to health within biopsychosocial point of view. Specifically, healthy ageing, palliative care, functional diversity and communal or public health are some examples.
