She specializes in movement science and active therapy. She holds a Master of Sciences (MSc) in physical activity and health and is one of the leading physiotherapist experts in the pilates method.

Since 2016, she occupies a position as an Associate Professor at EUSES physiotherapy school (University of Barcelona, University of Girona), where she lectures to students from all over the world. She is also a PhD student at the Blanquerna Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitat Ramon Llull.

Her most recent lines of research have focused around movement interventions in individuals with moderate cognitive decline, student motivations to pursue a career in physiotherapy, and in further developing the concept of adherence to voluntary exercise, especially when delivered via eHealth technologies.

Starting September 1, 2022, we are pleased to count her as a member of our Join4Joy project, a EU-funded  initiative within the Erasmus+ programs, which aims to bring qualitity and joyful physical activity interventions to senior citizens in 5 different countries. She also works as Participant Assessor for the RECETAS Project, a EU-funded initiative, under Horizon-2020 sponsorship, focusing on nature-based social prescribing to help combat loneliness.
