From Experience to Insight: What We Are Learning Together

Dear Community,

As the Happy Power project continues to evolve, we are now in a key moment of reflection. After completing the first pilot and advancing in the second phase, we are beginning to identify meaningful insights about how positive psychology can be integrated into higher education.

What Are We Seeing So Far?

The first results confirm that the Happy Power program is more than a learning tool — it is an experience that connects students with their emotions, beliefs, and personal development.

Students report that:
– Activities related to emotions, irrational beliefs and the ABC model help them better understand themselves.
– The combination of app + classroom creates a deeper and more meaningful learning experience.
– Reflection-based learning can be applied to real-life situations.

Artevelde Workshop: Learning from Real Experiences

A key milestone in this phase was the international workshop held at Artevelde, where students and teachers from different countries shared their experiences.

Key conclusions:
– Interaction and dialogue are essential for impact.
– Activities connected to real-life situations are the most powerful.
– Time and facilitation in the classroom are critical factors.
– Simplicity and clarity increase engagement.

Teachers’ Perspective

Teachers highlight:
– Practical and applicable materials.
– Flexibility to adapt to different subjects.
– Strong contribution to communication and emotional skills.

Advisory Board Insights

The Advisory Board confirmed:
– The relevance of the project.
– The importance of improving usability and clarity.
– The need to strengthen dissemination.

Looking Ahead

We are integrating all feedback into the second pilot phase to improve the experience and impact.
