Ángel Custodio Raluy i Alonso is currently an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at
the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (Spain) and the academic International
coordinator at this institution. He holds a Ph.D. in intercultural semantics. His research focuses on
intercultural communication and the role of virtual environments in culture learning among
universities. Ángel Raluy has participated in a number of Erasmus+Projects in the areas of
inclusion and teacher training.
The event aims to present the outcomes of Tools, a Key Action 2 European Project that aims to
address inclusiveness in the area of teaching English as a foreign language.
The main goals are: raise awareness of the necessity of dealing with mixed ability; enhance the
quality of teacher training in social, digital and cultural inclusion; promote ICT as an instrument to
favor inclusion; organize seminars and activities to advocate for non-discriminatory attitudes in
teaching.
