Local Policies for Equality on the grounds of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. This white paper has been drafted within the framework of the project, Against Homophobia. European Local Administration Devices (AHEAD), co-funded by the Directorate of Fundamental Rights and Citizenship of the European Union and coordinated by the Barcelona City Council. The main objective of this book is to promote the implementation of policies directed at combating discriminations against LGBT people at local level. In line with this objective, this white paper attemps to serve as a useful tool to bring to light the actions local administrations can implement to combat discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression
