General information

Before Christmas, it’s a great moment to meet with colleagues and catch up on recent advances across different areas of Bioinformatics. In a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, we will enjoy short talks from three early-career researchers at various postdoctoral stages. Juan, Meritxell and Pau will share updates on their ongoing research in genome structure, metagenomics and gene regulatory networks. The session will conclude with a round table to discuss what’s next in omics data analysis and beyond.

This session is co-organized by the Research Group of Bioinformatics and Bioimaging (BI2), Faculty of Sciences, Technology and Engineering (FCTE) of the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC) and the Area of Bioinformatics and Bioimaging of the Institut de Recerca i Innovació en Ciències de la Vida i de la Salut a la Catalunya Central (IRIS-CC).
