The research line in Health conditions and tissue regeneration at the TR2Lab, directed by Ph.D. Ester Goutan-Roura, is focused on analysing at a clinical level, how health conditions such as comorbidities, pharmacology intake, emotional status and frailty level, to name a few, affect tissue repair mechanisms either directly or through the nutritional status.
We are focused on clinical and nutritional aspects of individuals and its relation to tissue repair. We are analysing clinical and nutritional data in order to better understand which health conditions impair or promote tissue repair. Our long-term goal is a better understanding of those health conditions taking part in tissue repair in order to achieve better repairing outcomes.
