The research in Epigenetics and tissue transformation at the TR2Lab, directed by Ph.D. Laia Bosch Pressegué is focused on studying epigenetic events in different pathologies and how different interventions can prevent their appearance, improve symptoms or contribute to
their healing.
We are focused on how an epigenetic nutrition intervention can contribute to the improvement of patients with cancer, mental illnesses, obesity, etc. And at a more molecular level, and in deep collaboration with other lines of the research group, our main interest is to elucidate the epigenetic mechanisms involved in tissue repair regeneration and contribute to the design of novel therapies.
