On November 29th, Ruth Vilardell received from La Fundació La Farga the second award “Vicenç Fisas i Comella”, instituted to support excellent thesis degree project.
With this award, the La Farga Foundation wants to promote: knowledge applied to social development, creativity as a basis for innovation and progress, and awareness for the care and sustainability of the environment.
Ruth Vilardell’s Nursing degree project title (original language Catalan) “El grau de coneixement i satisfacció dels pacients diabètics tipus 2 d’Osona amb el seu tractament farmacològic“.
Her degree thesis was part of one of the research projects developed in the research line health conditions and tissue regeneration led by Ph.D. Ester Goutan.

Clara Masó Albareda presented two e-poster presentations at EWMA International Congress 2025
Clara Masó, a member of the TR2Lab, presented two e-poster presentations at the 35th Conference of the European Wound Management Association (EWMA), celebrated in Barcelona on 26-28th march 2025. The titles of the e-posters were “Use of hyperozonized fatty acids protector barrier to restore devitalized skin in hard-to-heal wounds of different aetiologies” (1) and “Combination of Advanced therapies to cope with the challenge of managing Martorell ulcers” (2). Biomedicine Workshops: Connecting Biomedical Sciences with Upper Secondary Students
The Biomedicine Workshops, organized by TR2Lab as part of the Educational Biomedicine Program, are a well-established scientific dissemination activity aimed at high school students. The primary goal of these workshops is to bridge the gap between high school science education and university degrees. Additionally, they provide an excellent platform for disseminating biomedical sciences, fostering scientific vocations, and channeling the curiosity and research initiatives of high school students. Since the 2015-2016 academic year, more than 1,000 students from Osona and Vallès have had the opportunity to participate. Both teachers and students highly value several key aspects of the activity.
