Project information.

A PICS project (Project International de Coopération Scientifique, CNRS) has been granted to support Xavier Rovira’s collaboration with the research group “Neurorécepteurs, dynamique et fonction” of the Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle (IGF, Montpellier) and the group “Medicinal Chemistry & Synthesis” of the Centro de investigacion y desarrollo (CID-CSIC, Barcelona). In this collaborative project the team will seek to improve the photopharmacological toolbox for metabotropic glutamate receptors, which are responsible for the modulation of the synaptic transmission and involved in many neurological diseases.
