“Valoración de la experiencia percibida por parte de los pacientes referente al equipo de una Unidad de Heridas Complejas” (1) is the original title of the oral communication that Marta Casals presented at the XXVI National Congress of the Spanish Society of Geriatric Nursing and Gerontology, celebrated in Santander, Spain, May 30 and 31, 2019.

This communication, that is a part of the work done to know the perceptions of the patients, discusses the experiences that patients have to the human team of the Clinical Wound Unit.

In this study, the strengths were detected, like high knowledge in chronic wounds and good communication between the team and the consultants, as well as upgradeable points such as intimacy or high workloads.
