Proposal: Diabetes is a high incidence disease. The problems in the lower limbs arise from the microvascular complications of the disease. These problems include ulcers. The presence of ulcers in diabetic individuals increases mortality 2.5 times. In addition, having experienced an ulcer predisposes to the appearance of new ulcers in 40% of cases one year after healing. It is especially necessary to prevent ulcer appearance. From international organisms dedicated to the study of diabetes, the detection of the temperature difference between the two feet in diabetic people has been postulated as a measure to prevent the appearance of new ulcers and diabetic foot complications. The objective of this study is to recruit and analyze foot temperature differences among diabetic people in order to stablish an ulcer prevention protocol.
