Proud to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the TR2Lab

On  June 16, 2015, the Governing Council of the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) approved the creation of The Tissue Repair and Regeneration Laboratory (TR2Lab).

We are proud of the results that TR2Lab members have achieved within the last 2 years. Some of our most relevant results are: more than 10 publications in International Indexed Journals and several book chapters have been published, and also round than 30 Communications in national and international meetings.

In addition, TR2Lab has received 10 grants and awards for developing translational research projects, basic research, and also dissemination activities.

Additionally, TR2Lab has stablished excellent opportunities for the training of the undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral and post-doctoral candidates. The first doctoral thesis of TR2Lab has been defended this 2017. Currently, 3 students are developing their doctoral thesis project and 4 undergraduate students collaborate with TR2Lab by developing their thesis degree or an internship.

Recently, TR2Lab has developed a science dissemination program aims to bring science closer to society and to promote the interest in the science of students, scientists, educators, patients, professionals and industry through practical scientific activities related to TR2Lab’s research.
