The UVic-UCC will host the “Symposium of authors. FC Barcelona: History, Politics and Identity”, which will take place on November 24 and 25, in a hybrid format (face-to-face and online) as part of the presentation of the book which the same title that will be published next year.

The event will reflect on issues such as the identity and history of the emblematic club, its governance and internal regulation, the perspective of its supporters, the representation of FC Barcelona, among other current issues. Moreover, the symposium will have the participation of Raymond Boyle (University of Glasgow); Frederic Porta (journalist specializing in the history of the club); Carles Viñas (University of Barcelona); Mariann Vaczi (University of Nevada); Sean Hamil (University of London) and the Faculty of Business and Communication professors Xavier Ginesta, Jordi de San Eugenio, Joan Escolies and Jim O’Brien (visiting professor).
