She works as the International relations officer at Health Sciences and Wellfare Faculty at the University of Vic- Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC). She holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Computing (University of Portsmouth) a Master’s Degree in Information Society and Knowlegement (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya), and a PhD in the “Comprehensive Care and Health Services Programme” ath the UVic-UCC.
Her research is within the field of virtual communities of practice. She’s co-author of the App “I’mWithYou”, a tool to support informal caregivers of people with Alzheimer. She collaborates with the “Digital Societies Recearch Group” and the Information School of Sheffield University. She works on several projects with European funding, among them, Co-care about co-created ICT solutions for Alzheimer’s informal caregiving.
