She is a Psychology student at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) and has been awarded a PEC scholarship to join the M₃O Research Group.
She completed her internship at Hospital de Campdevànol, where she worked mainly with older adults in the field of psychology. This experience sparked her interest in healthy ageing, person-centred care and the psychological well-being of older people. Her personal experience caring for her grandparents has also strengthened her sensitivity towards the needs of older adults and reinforced her commitment to promoting dignity and quality of life throughout the ageing process.
She has also volunteered with Fundació Arrels, an experience that increased her awareness of social exclusion, vulnerability and the importance of community support. Through these experiences, she has developed empathy, active listening skills and a strong interest in the psychosocial determinants of health.
She is eager to gain experience in health research and to better understand how scientific evidence can contribute to improving clinical practice and public health. She is particularly interested in the research lines SHAPE (Social Connection, Humanities and Arts, Public Health and Ethics) and PCBE (Clinical and Health Psychology, Cognition, Well-being and Spirituality), as they closely align with her academic background and professional interests. She hopes to contribute to research that promotes psychological well-being, social inclusion and healthy ageing from a biopsychosocial perspective.
