He is a physiotherapist and PhD student at the Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC). He graduated in Physiotherapy at UVic in 2022 and holds a Master in Ageing and Health (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 2025). Since 2022 he has worked as a physiotherapist at the Hospital General de Granollers, in acute hospitalization, intermediate care, palliative care and other units. He also holds a Higher Technician degree in Physical and Sports Activities Animation and a Technician degree in Nursing Auxiliary Care, with more than seven years of experience as a nursing assistant between 2014 and 2021.
He began his research career as an intern at the M3O Research Group (UVic-UCC), where he took part in the national OsoNaH project (urinary incontinence and sedentary behaviour in nursing homes in Osona) and the European RENE project (Renewing Ergonomic Education for Health Care Students). He was also a technician in the ResiCovid-19 project, assessing the impact of the pandemic on nursing homes in Catalonia. He is currently the principal investigator of “Envelliment en Moviment”, a supervised adapted physical activity programme for people over 70, and coordinates the Vallès Oriental Interest Group of the Col·legi de Fisioterapeutes de Catalunya. His research focuses on ageing, physical activity, chronic pain and functional capacity in older people. He received the 3rd Prize at the Research and Innovation Day of the Hospital General de Granollers (2025) and has presented at national and international conferences.
