She is the Director of Care at Parc Taulí Hospital, in Sabadell.  She was the Director of Care at the Hospital Consortium of Vic from 2012 to 2020. She also was Dean of the Faculty of Health and Welfare Sciences and Director of the Chair of Social Services at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia from 2014 to 2017, positions she combined with the CHV Care Department with the aim of stimulating the integration of research, teaching, clinical practice and management results orientation. She coordinated the research line of Practice based on evidence, models, leadership, and health and social outcomes from 2015 to 2020, of M3O research group.

PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Leeds (2012) and the University of Vic (2013), Master in Leadership and Management of Nursing Services from the University of Barcelona (2009), University Diploma in Integrated Services Management of Health. DSIS from ESADE (2015), Postgraduate Diploma Qualitative and participatory research in the health sciences, Autonomous University of Barcelona (2004), Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Research Methodology, University of Barcelona (1994), Postgraduate Diploma Intensive Care Nursing, Autonomous University of Barcelona (1993), Diploma of the VI Intensive Care Course, Autonomous University of Barcelona (1987) and Diploma in Nursing (1986) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

She has worked as emergency care nurse, ICU nurse, and lung function and research nurse in diferent hospitals. From 2000 to 2007 was a Quality and Research Nurse in the Epidemiology and Public Health Service, and collaborated with the Iberoamerican Cochrane Center, of the Santa Creu and Sant Pau Hospital.

She was a teacher at the University School of Nursing -UAB of the Santa Creu and Sant Pau Hospital from 1991 to 2012 in the areas of nursing research, Fundamentals of Nursing, Theoretical Bases and Methodological Bases.

As a researcher she has participated in more than twelve competitive projects and has published more than 70 articles including 3 Cochrane reviews and 3 articles in journals with high impact factor.

Member of the Committee of Experts of the Central Results, Observatory of the Catalan Health System. Member of the Board of Trustees of the Nursing and Society Foundation. He is a member of the Catalan Society of Health Management and is a Fellow of the European Academy of Nursing Science (FEANS). She is a reviewer in the journals: Journal of Advanced Nursing, Intensive and Critical Care Nursing, Nursing, Clinical Nursing and Nursing Goals.

Her main interests are the analysis of the impact of interventions on people’s health outcomes, studies of efficiency and effectiveness as well as the evaluation of patient experience and professional satisfaction together with the implementation of evidence-based practice and innovation to improve the quality of Care.
