She is a nurse and an anthropologist. She is an associate professor at UVic-UCC in the Department of Health and Wellness Sciences. She also works as a nephrology nurse in the University Hospital of Vic.
She is a PhD candidate in Comprehensive Care and Health Services at UVic-UCC. Her area of research focuses on exploring the experiences of kidney donors and recipients during the live kidney transplant process through a quality methodology approach. She is part of the Methodology, Methods, Models and Outcomes of Health and Social Sciences research group.
