He is a clinical psychologist, PhD, and lecturer specialised in ageing and psychogerontology. He holds a Bachelor in Psychology (UAB, 2014), a Master in Psychogerontology (UB, 2015), a Master in General Health Psychology (UdG-UOC, 2018), a Master in Occupational Risk Prevention (URV, 2023) and a Master in Integrative Psychotherapy (Universidad Católica de Ávila, 2026). He obtained his PhD in Comprehensive Care and Health Services at UVic-UCC in 2024 (Cum Laude), with a thesis on the effect of training in the Validation Method on communication patterns, job satisfaction and work motivation of professionals in nursing homes.
He has been a lecturer at UVic-UCC since 2018, teaching Psychogerontology and Developmental Psychology, and has also taught at the Universitat Internacional Valenciana, Universitat Carlemany and the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, where he supervises final degree and master’s projects. Since 2015 he has worked as a psychologist and human resources manager at Fundació Sant Andreu de Castellcir, a nursing home, where he coordinates the person-centred care project. He also works as a health psychologist in private practice (Psigma Vic) and, since June 2026, is a resident in Clinical Psychology at the Consorci Hospitalari de Vic.
He remains linked to the M3O Research Group, in the line of research on ageing and functional diversity. His work focuses on the Validation Method, person-centred care, communication and job satisfaction among care staff in nursing homes, and he has published in journals such as the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, Educational Gerontology, The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing, Healthcare and BMC Geriatrics.
