She is an active nurse working in the unit of nephrology in University Hospital of Vic, and works as a professor in UVic-UCC, teaching the subject of Physiology I to undergraduate students in Physiotherapy.
She has a diploma in nursing (UVic- UCC, 2001) and a bachelor on animal biology (UAB, 2011). She is a PhD in Comprehensive Care and Health Services (UVic-UCC-2001). Her research focus is on studying the impact of educational intervention and physical exercise on patients’ quality of life on hemodialysis and on the design and validation of developing an inventory for the detection of fall risk factors focused on the ambulatory patient with a chronic disease, from a gender perspective and which a proposal for preventive health activities emerges.
