Currently he is the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing Sciences at the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC) and works as a lecturer in the Physiotherapy degree in the Geriatric Physical Therapy subject.
He is a PhD in biomedicine (Rovira i Virgili University, URV). He has a Master in Ageing and Health (URV) and BsC in Physiotherapy. He is member of the Spanish Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SEGG), where is coordinating an European project.
He worked as Innovation Teaching responsible and as the Head of the Basic Health Science Department at the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing Sciences.
His research areas are focused in geriatrics, gerontology, physical therapy and rehabilitation.
