Diploma in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Barcelona, ​​Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Vic and PhD in Nutrition and Metabolism from the Rovira i Virgili University. Before coming to the academic world, she held different positions in research and development departments of different food industries, focusing on the development of new products but also on the optimization of formulations and production processes. She currently carry out her work at the University of Vic in three areas:

  • Management, as coordinator of the Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Teacher in the field of diet-therapy and how to improve therapeutic diets based on gastronomic innovation.
  • Researcher in the field of food, gastronomy and sustainability and the impact of eating desordres development in firts year of university students.

With a lot of ties to the professional world, she is a member of the Association of Dieticians-Nutritionists of Catalonia and she is a full academician at the Spanish Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
