She works as Associate Lecturer in the Department of Social Sciences and Community Health at the Faculty of Health and Welfare Sciences of the University of Vic-UCC, lecturing in the field of Public Health. She also collaborates in the Master’s in Nutrition and Health of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
She holds a BSc in Nutrition from King’s College London; an MSc in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine; and a PhD in Public Health from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria;
She has worked in scientific research and project coordination for 14 years, and in food quality control within the food industry for 4 years. She spent a 17-month visiting stay at the Johns Hopkins’ Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on Obesity and Public Health.
