She belongs to the Department of Social Sciences and Community Health. Full-time professor in the Faculty of Health and Welfare Sciences. She has a Doctorate in Nursing Sciences from the University of Barcelona, with a doctoral thesis entitled: “Effectiveness of a nurse psychosocial intervention program to enhance self-care agency and positive mental health in people with chronic health problems”, obtained with a qualification of “Excellent Cum Laude” (Read on 12/15/2015).
She’s interested in the following research lines:
- Well-being and positive mental health in the population
- Community nursing, contributions from consultation and projection to the community (new methods of working in the community, participation of citizens and territorial organizations in the health process)
- Management of the lack of nurses and personal approaches of nursing students and active nurses towards the profession
