She is a Physiotherapy student at the University of Vic (UVic-UCC).

Her experience as a caregiver in 2022 at an EHPAD (nursing home) in Nègrepelisse showed her the challenges faced by residents in terms of quality of life. This experience deeply affected her and motivated her to get involved in projects aimed at improving the well-being of the elderly, such as GEROS, which acts in the interests of this population.

By living with her grandparents daily, she understands the importance of preserving their dignity and valuing their lives. She is particularly sensitive to the specific needs of older adults, whether in terms of health, social recognition or intergenerational ties. Known for her ability to listen, her empathy and her patience, Laura aims to promote active ageing and create spaces where older people can share their experiences.
