Currently pursuing a degree in Physiotherapy at UVic, Júlia Romeu is interested in healthy aging, functional diversity, social health policies, and the intersection of nutrition and sustainability. These interests align with a wide range of potential projects within the M₃O research group, where she can actively contribute as a member of the Scientific Initiation Team.

Throughout their studies, Júlia has gained valuable experience participating in various academic projects, such as a Blended Intensive Program (BIP) in Portugal focused on social transformation for healthy, inclusive, and resilient societies. They have also taken part in the EIT Health Days, reaching the finals in Barcelona, and collaborated on the Physical Education of Elders project during a stay in Italy. Additionally,  she contributed to the 2024 World Continence Week by creating digital content for the World Federation of Incontinence and Pelvic Problems. These experiences reflect their commitment to combining research and practical initiatives to address global health challenges.
