The research group on Methodology, Methods, Models and Outcomes of Health and Social Sciences (M3O) It is located at the Faculty of Health Science and Welfare and directly connected with the Centre for Health and Social Care Research (CESS) of the University of Vic-Central University of Catalonia (UVIC-UCC). The M3O has been recognized as an Interinstitutional Emergent research group (with funding) in the last (SGR2017) call of the Catalonia Government.
The objective of the research Group M3O is generating and transferring knowledge about teaching and care models in health and social care. It is a multidisciplinary group of professionals that investigate health from a holistic, social, multidisciplinary, integrative, interuniversity and international perspective. Health policies, evidence-based practice and results in health, nutrition, well-being, healthy aging or functional diversity are some of the studied topics.
