The Qué has to consist of three modalities: a traditional one, a musical one and an antiqué one. The money collected with the Qué will allow to finance a recreational outing with the adolescents and young people of the organization.

Participants: Social educator, adolescents and young people of Casal Claret.

  • Develop teamwork and cooperation skills.
  • Encourage active participation.
  • Offering young people the opportunity to take responsibility.
  • Encourage expression and communication.
  • Learning to have responsibilities related to the organization of activities.
  • Improve the participation of young people in the activities carried out in the city of Vic.

Reflections of UVic students

  • We think it is important to work on the participation and involvement of young people in the city so that all of them can feel that they are part of a citizen project where they are the protagonists.
  • We think it is important to make proposals that help reduce digital inequalities because we currently live in a totally digitalized world where communication, work, procedures… are all done through technology.
  • After questioning a series of doubts and having raised how we would carry out the project, we were talking with the social educator of the center, the reason for the whole project itself. That is, what is the benefit that the Casal Claret gets, all the tasks to be carried out as the University of Vic. In the first place, it is the fact of making visible the collective with which Casal Claret works and what becomes the entity in general with all the values that it presents. Secondly, one of the other reasons is the fact of raising money to be able to invest in the organization and ensure a better fulfillment of the needs of all young people and adolescents.
  • As students of the University of Vic we are very excited to create this project with the young people of Casal Claret, as it is an opportunity as professional educators and social educators to have this contact with them in order to organize the neighborhood of La Riera.
  • We have selected a variety of musical styles to ensure that no group feels excluded or discriminated against, thus reflecting the cultural diversity and different musical tastes of the young participants.
  • When it came to drafting the speech, we did so with the collaboration of all the young people, adopting a formal approach to ensure that it was suitable for presentation to the businesses in the city of Vic. This collaboration ensured that everyone felt part of the process and that their voices were heard.
  • For which, we created two different posters to allow all young people to contribute their creativity. Subsequently, a vote was organized so that everyone could choose the poster they liked the most, thus encouraging democratic participation and the inclusion of all opinions.
  • When visiting stores, we tried to break down gender stereotypes. For example, when entering a cooking store such as Culinarium, we ensured that both boys and girls actively participated in the presentation, thus avoiding the perpetuation of traditional gender roles.
  • We have involved all young people in making important decisions, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to express their ideas and opinions. This has fostered an environment of collaboration and mutual respect.
  • As a group, the expected results of this project are not limited only to completing all the assigned tasks. Beyond this, we aim to encourage the active participation of young people throughout the development process. We want to create an environment where each member of the group feels valued and has the opportunity to contribute their ideas and talents. In addition, we seek to ensure that this experience is enriching and fun for all participants, fostering their motivation and enjoyment at every stage of the project.
  • We think that having been able to participate in this project with Casal Claret has been a great opportunity for all of us because we have had a commitment and a responsibility both with the social educator of the center and with all the young people who have participated in the entity.
  • As the project progressed, we have encountered some difficulties and other advantages, although from all of them we have been learning and improving. Some of the difficulties have been, for example, that we have not had so many sessions with the young people, because the Casal Claret works by education, that is to say, that if in the schools there is a party, in the entity also. This has affected the organization of the work itself because when young people have come we have had to go a lot to the idea and know exactly what to work and what not. We also believe that some advantages (more as a group) is that we have been able to communicate with each other to be able to resolve conflicts that have arisen as the work progressed.
  • The learning that we take back to the group is to know how to carry out a project from its creation, to elaborate a diagnosis, to carry out the implementation and to have the capacity to be able to evaluate both the young people and ourselves, since knowing how to carry out a socio-educational project from beginning to end means knowing how to manage yourself as a person as well as a group when certain unforeseen events arise, or when you have to improvise quickly in a situation.
  • All of us think that as future social educators it is a great job to carry out a project from scratch, since we have been able to really see what difficulties we may encounter.
